here's a breakdown of the show:
- we ended up headlining.
- we played 7 songs, two of which i titled incorrectly on the set list, "place your pochet change..." and "i never knew she had it in fo4 him."
- we had only one working mic, yet the PA worked for every other band.
- i thought i blew my bass amp, no one could hear me.
- tom's cymbals fell. a lot. and ended up in odd angles when standing.
- we broke one of the new age's mic stands.
- tom BENT one of his cymbal stands (WTF?).
- and i completely forgot to let everyone know about the free CDs we were giving away.
here are some images, special thanks to alan for taking these piece of shit photos, we love you. there are more, but these are the best pictures out of all of them.
this had to have been at the beginning of the set.
notice the angle of tom's cymbals. i think you can also see the mic stand breaking near my amp.
tom's ride cymbal in mid-falling, which is how we ended up with this:
H X FUCKING C.
but we brushed our shoulders off and kept going, and it was all really fun and entertaining. people really seemed to like our set, which was cool.
thank you again to everyone who came out, hopefully our next show will be sometime in early september.
aside from that, tomorrow is my birthday, and i've had so much shit on my mind lately that it's difficult to focus on anything. i can't even remember the past couple days, which is why i can't write about them. i'm too stressed out and i need to relax. so hopefully over the next few days i'll be able to do that. i feel like i've got a ton of shit to worry about, or that i should be worrying about, and not enough time to deal with it, but, this isn't true. who knows. i'll be better in a few days.
