Lots to do
It is insane, but Dustin and Stephanie's wedding is just around the corner now. They are getting married on July 9th - about a week and a half from now. I am trying to get the things done that can be done early for the cake. Last night I made a ton of little yellow roses out of royal frosting. They are going to go on the top of the mini cakes. I still need to buy the boards for those - I bought some online and they were the wrong size. So, I need to go to the cake store and buy a bunch of big boards and cut them down to size (cause as far as I know, they don't make boards in the right size, I've looked). But I have everything else, minus the ingredients, which I should go buy too. I have the plan of how I'm gonna bake an decorate the cake, and still participate in the wedding stuff. Wednesday day/night, I'm gonna bake all the cakes, and make the fondant. Thursday, I'm gonna start making the mini cakes. This is also the day of the bridal shower, so I won't be able to work the entire day. Friday, I will finish the mini cakes, and start on the wedding cake. The rehearsal dinner is also that evening, and I am supposed to go. If I am feeling good about where I am with the cakes, I will go, otherwise, I will stay home. Saturday morning, I will finish decorating the wedding cake. The wedding is Saturday evening. We are probably gonna stay at the resort thing Saturday night. Sunday morning is a brunch thing where Dustin and Steph are gonna open the gifts. Then we are leaving to the coast with Tyler's parents and his other brother and his family (the brother's family). We are gonna stay in Seaside until Wednesday at a beach house. That ought to be loads of fun, I'm really excited for that part. :) Yesterday I finished paying for the beach house. Now I just need to get the house chores done for the day. I actually need to go to the store and get milk. Since I need to go, I should just get the other stuff at the same time.
I've also been looking at the fair stuff for this year, their contests I mean. They have the contests available to look at now. I have been figuring what I'm gonna do for that, and what I need to get for that too. That is in the end of August. I need to get started decorating the dummy cakes for that. I have most of that planned though, I just need to plan the time. :) Man, I have a lot to get going today, I should start! lol I think I'm gonna make myself a list so that I don't forget stuff.
