DH spoilers, spread them like influenza?

Yeah, like probably a good half of the fandom, weak-willed little me has submitted herself to 1. all the chapter titles and 2. THE EPILOGUE SCANS OF DOOM. If you haven't and wanna see them, go over to elaboration's or fraught's LJ :-D (Come on~! Let go of your self restraint~ Weak mind loves company~)

So I am gonna talk about this epilogue a bit... )

(NO HARRY YOU ARE NOT A BAD PERSON!

It seemed like there were at least 38589305 scenes in which Harry modestly said 'Nannyboohoo, everything's my fault, I only had the best intentions!' and someone interrupted with 'No, Harry, it's MY fault, you're blameless and perfect!'.
Not to mention how it equalled the books for Harry being everyone's no. 1 priority, so even when the Weasleys think their dad may have died, it's all 'LOOK AT ME, WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME, HELP ME DOWN THE CORRIDOR RON!' My non-HP friend was catcalling 'C'mon, he's doing it for attention!' by the time he fainted, and openly laughed throughout the possession. (I'm so proud!)

Your friend has taste, I must say! This time I watched it with a non-fan friend too, she busied herself with shooting me urgent whispered questions of OMG just which chick WILL Harry end up with?! While my serial loud snorts gained suspicious glares from neighbor audience who probably thought I had severe nasal congestion. Well, guess I've trained myself to focus on the bits I do enjoy, it makes life a lot more bearable :-P

What say you of the spoilers? If you haven't read them yet, DON'T start now, seriously! Take it from a badly spoiled idiot who's loathing herself a little at the moment ^^;;

My friend is awesome, she said 'Aw, isn't it PC that Harry makes out with the Chinese Scottish chick even though he never talks to anyone in this film who isn't a white Brit?' I was like...OK, are you secretly reading my lj? <3 <3

Oh, I've skimmed the first 500pgs, just dl'ed the second batch. I keep meaning to read it all but it's a bit...eh, so I've just been looking for characters who take my eye: Draco, Dudley, Fleur.

Hon, you've finished, er, 'looking at' the image files right?
Would you say it is 100%, definitely, absolutely without a doubt, the book? Coz you know how the last few chapters, especially the Crabbe & Goyle part, gave me nightmares last night? You know how much of a Draco fan I am, and how I was horrified by his lack of... let's say point of existence in 'this book' (Draco's wand was 100 times more important than his person, HA HA HA)- but this was *nothing* in comparison to the absolute horror I felt when I saw Crabbe and Goyle firing around AK like nobody's business. I seriously thought I was having a bad dream. I mean, the Crabbe who read comics? The Crabbe and Goyle who dressed up as a little girls at Draco's command?

SERIOUSLY HAS THE WORLD GONE MAD????!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would've never have in my wildest dream, imagined that I'll one day be completely disgusted by the HP series, not because of what happened to Draco's character, but to Crabbe and Goyle's.

Please god let this all be a ridiculous joke!!!

Oh, I just read the Draco parts, after that I was so pissed off I couldn't be bothered with any others.
I don't think anyone can say for 100% sure that these are real, but the only doubts I have are because I want to, you know? I mean, tons of it seem totally fucked up, but then the chapter title matches what JKR had on TV, the illustrations look like Grandpre's...
But yes, what fucking fanfic did they walk out? So in GoF, Crabbe's all saving the ferret, in HBP he's asking what's going on and they look lonely at the end and their friendship even gets paralled with the Trio...then in DH, they're 'colleagues' and Crabbe's tired of taking orders
Also loved that Pansy mention. From liking unicorns and not wanting to admit it and crying over her boyfriend to handing a classmate to Voldemort.

You are right. Upon reading Rowling's rep admitting there were leaks of true copy of DH I am beyond doubt that yeah, what I scanned through wasn't some bad piece of fanfic containing a few genuine chapters (the Snape & Dumbledore arcs).

Can I ask for my frigging emotional investment in this damn series back?

It's not that there weren't really great stuffs in these books. But it fxxking pisses me off when I can tell the author just got lazy and no longer gives a damn like, half of the time, and it so happens it's this half of the time I care so pathetically much about.

Yeah, and the doubts of WHAT THE FUCK DID SHE WRITE, THAT MAKES NO SENSE AND IS TOTALLY HYPOCRITICAL were there in all the books, we just stupidly gave her the benefit of the doubt she didn't merit as an author and decided that she had some kind of plan in mind ( ... )

the Ginny stuff I guess should have been the big clue, not the Draco stuff after all!

Could you blame us though? Accidental brilliance is not a common occurance. Yeah I was deliberately overlooking the Ginny stuff along with JKR's other suckiness, thought one can't ask an author to cover all grounds well. HA! Well, pity, Rowling had so much potential- like Draco Malfoy before this last HP book!

All there is to Snape is his Love for Lily, no other loyalties or friendships or emotions or morals.

Was that how it turned out? I must admit I only got second hand info regarding the Snape part (wanted to save it to tomorrow night, since the Draco arc sunk to hell and I wanted something to look forward to)... But hey, comparing Snape's one note loyalty to the fiasco that is the current Slytherin student body, it's only a mild disappointment really! Which makes me wonder how the Regulus arc was dealt with...

But now I feel like I don't want to waste a minute more of my time on something so unworthy (I don't even want to use an icon of the ( ... )

I scanned the Snape stuff whereas I read the Draco stuff properly, but yes, from what it seems, Snape never had any positive emotions or connections towards any people other than Lily ever, who was the reason he did everything he did. (Only in the JKRverse would this make someone a hero - imho, it makes him worse, like Dumbledore when he says he'd have let countless people die if Harry could be happy.)
But yes, Snape is a hero which is one-up on everyone else in Slytherin.
I didn't read the Regulus stuff, apparently it's quite sweet - I'm sure it could be, since he died and therefore is allowed to be an ambigious Slytherin.

I would never cut off my buddies!
But yeah, Rowling's hilarious, whining about Teh Children as if she isn't worried about Teh Money and as if the ending isn't the most insanely predictable cliched crap ever. Can't wait for her cloying post-book interview - can she top the insulting HBPs? Well, now she has no-one to impress anymore - let's see!
