I used this tut for my default icon, but I couldn't do the levels step.
I think levels in PSPX2 are diffrent because I couldn't enter in the values like 0.81 for red. It was weird. =/
great tutorial btw. (=

Wow. I'm really sorry. I wish I could help, but alas, I'm too poor to have upgraded from PSP9. The only suggestion that I can make is just to post a general question for a levels equivalent in PSPX2 in psptutorials. I'm glad you liked the tutorial though. =D

ETA - I was just playing around with it though, and if (instead of the levels layers) you create a new raster layer and fill with #7fd3ae and set to color (legacy) at 20% and then follow the rest of the tutorial, it'll give you a similar effect (though you may have to duplicate the hue/sat/light layer and set to like 40-50%). I hope that wasn't too confusing.

hmm ;
well, my pic looks a little funny ..
it looks COOL.
i did what you told me to do, and adjusted 2 steps, after it.
maybe, it would look better if there was more colour in my pic - like yours?
don't know.

I like it! =D If you're looking for more color in your final product, then you might want a base with more color as well, you might be able to play with the saturation of the base as well. However, I really like the way it came out with that picture.
