Sorry for being absent. it has been a busy time. We had visitors at work that needed preparing for, and then there is of course, as always the family.
I have been letting historiography lie dormant for a while, getting my head wrapped around Haskell. As always, I find it easier to approach these things via the implementation side; thus, Simon Peyton-Jones
book on implementing functional programming languages was significantly more illuminating then the Haskell tutorials (though many of those are very good indeed).
So, apologies if I haven't reacted to any of your posts in a while. It's been packed.
