turkey, turkey and more turkey!
Today was a pretty awesome day on the whole. I got up and went rollerblading which is something I haven't done in a long time. I went over to my parents house and played their piano and then I went over to Mark and Denise's for thanksgiving lunch. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. It's nice though knowing, that i have laughed that hard recently, that it's not a distant memory. Either way, I felt totally blessed and was very thankful. I had dinner at my parents house in the evening. It was pretty good too, but I really have a hard time being there. I've decided that no one in my family listens, they only yell...
Yesterday was a good day too. I went to a service at school in the morning. Realistically, I mostly went cause I was asked to read scripture, but I am glad I went. We had communion, but I felt like it was missing something. The Presbyterian Church has all these traditions which lead up to communion. The great prayer of thanksgiving, certain responses, phrases and other stuff. Doing it with the Smith's (Salvation Army Officers) was very different.
In the afternoon I went out with Breanne and her parents. We went to the lunch buffet at the Revolving Restaurant which was fun and then we went to the forks. In the evening Breanne and I cooked a dinner for her parents which actually turned out really well.
