i was down to give it up...
i'm listening to of montreal's skeletal lamping ...i don't really know what i think of it so far. i've read a couple reviews where the singer describes it as a concept album branching off of the song "labyrinthian pomp" from their last album. that song happens to be my least favorite on that album. whatever, power to the weird.
no seriously, this album is all over the place. even within one song the style changes and it's part of montreal, part what the fuck, part i'm trying really hard to find a new sound. i need to stop thinking about it. no, i really want to see them in a couple weeks and if it's all this crap that i can barely dance to, i'm going to be really disappointed. i don't think they or i could try to top the experience i had watching them last november in tucson. haha...amazing doesn't touch it.
