The mental affliction called "Last Song Syndrome" is generally harmless, except in the instances it entices you to humiliate yourself in public - perchance by singing out loud, or maybe marching boldly puff-chested through the parking lot - which is what I was sorely tempted to do at Robinsons' Metro earlier. Blame that episode of SmackDown where Kurt Angle 'angle-locked' (or ankle-locked?) Randy Orton thrice. First time, Orton submitted, making Angle the winner. Angle parades around the ring to his theme song. Then he rushes at Orton and angle-locks him again. Music stops. Orton pounds the floor in pain, and Angle lets go. He jumps out of the ring, glaring at the prone body of Orton. Triumphant Kurt Angle music plays again. THEN he sprints back into the ring and angle-locks Orton a THIRD time. This time a half-dozen referees rush in and restrain Angle. He stands, walks puff-chested out of the ring. Music plays again while the cameras zoom in on Orton's anguished face.
I saw this episode twice. Plus Gary has the song on his computer and he played it yesterday, while I acted out the entire Angle/Orton scene like theatre retard. So. You can't really blame me. I'm a victim. ;p
