I’ve decided that I don’t like school holidays. I have to suffer through the week and put up with teenagers in the Queen Street Mall, and not have Band to look forward to to spare me from it all.

On a good note though (haha, pun!) I was given an Eflat Clarinet last night, with which I successfully butchered Laurance of Arabia on. It’s so little and cute! I hate it.

We also got music from Oliver! Which totally tickles me and for which I grovelled to get the first part for. As a trade off, I have to play 3rd for some rather amusing Tuba featured part... but I wont’ complain.

My computer, which was given some medication (read: RAM) worked for all of 12 hours, before I tried to turn it on yesterday and it wouldn’t boot up, declaring a ‘System Boot Failure’.

The computer guru won’t be over until Sunday.

To add to my computer woes, Swarley, my laptop, who has been in the care of my sister since I came back from London, will no longer stay on for more than 20mins before it overheats and turns itself off... The tech mans response to this is “Format the harddrive.”

I’m not a huge computer wiz... but surely a broken internal fan has NOTHING to do with the hardrive…???
