Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone! As a typical American mutt I do happen to have some Irish blood on my father's side though I don't feel particularly connected to that culture. Last night at McCarthy's I drank four (fucking stiff) whiskey-cokes and felt pretty buzzed by the time I hit the sack. Woke up feeling suprisingly good this morning, considering. Thanks, grandpa Dally!

Bwah! Someone insisted I must be Irish the way I was knocking back Stoli martinis the other night--but I'm very sure I have no Irish blood in me. :)

ahhh, i miss mc carthy's in general, but st. patty's at mc carthy's is by far the best! wish i could have been there with you all. austin, tx had a pretty cool set up downtown with a fireworks display over the river. i didn't get drunk though! amazing. haha!

Sounds like that wasn't entirely by choice. Yeah, downtown was crazy on Friday night. I didn't get to McCarthy's in time and wasn't about to wait in line for hours. I just got to be there for the midnight countdown on Thursday.
I bet Austin was pretty cool though. I've heard so many good things about that place. Anyway Happy (belated) St. Patrick's, deary. :)
