$837 in coins over the span of a couple years.
This is what happens when you stash away your change instead of letting it sit in your car or let it escape into the depths of your couch. I've got another bag full of pennies lying around with at least $20 accumulated in it. Apparently there's a coin machine at this bank 'round here that takes them without charging you a certain percent for every x amount. Should be doing that sooner or later.
College is stressing me out already. Mainly financial reasons. My loan ($36,500) went through, Parsons is offering a total of $5,500, and I've won an outside scholarship worth $4,000. In total that's $46,000. Out of that only $6,000 is free money and the rest is in some form of a loan. Yeah yeah yeah, I've come to terms with loans and being in debt, but after looking at the costs, I'm not even sure I have enough in my account for what everything is going to cost me. I may be short a thousand or two. Not to mention supplies. Trying to get the big things knocked out now, even if they aren't completely necessary for Freshman year, rather than later so I can deal with the harsh reality up front. I suppose I don't fully understand the financial state of my family. One minute we're poor, the next it's as if money isn't a question. My parents always seem to find a means to an end, but I can't really depend on them for the rest of my life.
Summer has been quite the drag since Graduation. I was sick off and on all of June, turned 18, realized nothing changes, basically dropped off the face of the planet and lost touch with 99% of anyone I knew in high school, felt fine with alone time, fucked up my sleeping pattern, remembered how hot Arizona is during the summer, ended shit, got over shit, lost 16 pounds and then July came with a breath of fresh air and summer is turning out to be a blast. My sleep schedule is typically 9:00am-2:00pm and then I'm usually hanging out with Faith, watching a lot of movies, and having iPod shuffle sing-a-long car rides.
In the next month I plan to camp out twice for Harry Potter, enjoy the movie, substitute online spoilers for actually reading the book, buy tons of shit that basically serves no purpose whatsoever except personal vanity and fuckery, hang out with Faith because she's MOVING TO CHICAGO FOREVER, end my very last month of Accutane, learn everything about my new macbook pro, and destroy my personal image and start over (haircut, clothing, etc). You know, cleanse myself or something.
Anyway, I forgot how to actually update livejournal without making it stupid and boring and I don't take photos anymore because I'm lazy so deal with the monotony of "so this is what I do on a daily basis" updates from here till mid-August. Sorry.
Oh, and this is a summary of my life lately:
Except that I couldn't find a picture of the Monster Java Moca Loca, so a picture of a typical Monster will do. Pom juice in the afternoon, and finish the night with a Rehab which is surprisingly delicious.

Anything this man produces. ANYTHING. He could stare at the camera while he eats for an hour and I would still watch. This is my favorite although the rest of his videos are just as amazing.

Lastly; how does one dress for winter and not look completely horrible? Having never experienced an actual winter in my life living in Arizona where temperatures are a steady 100 degrees everyday, I'm completely void of winter clothes. I'll probably die in NY. I tried on a turtleneck at American Apparel and maybe it's just that I couldn't grasp the concept of winter clothes that it looked weird on me, or maybe they just really don't look good on me, but it got me wondering as to what to buy when I go shopping for clothes. Ideas? Places to go? Etc.
