Escalator Etiquette
You know what really gets my goat?? Idiots on escalators - who stand on the right hand side. These people stand there - alone - with 200 people lined up next to them on the left - and a completely clear lane directly in front of them - blocking everyones path - completely obliviuos as to WHY people are trying to push past them. How angry does this make me? Picture Ben Stiller as Mister Furious in Mystery Men, slowly moving into a crouching position, fists clenched in rage beside his face, eyes bulging, letting loose an almighty roar of pimal fury that sets the veins in his forehead bulging and likely gives him a tremendous case of hemeroids.
Each time this happens, I feel my restraint slipping. I fear that very soon, I will be pushing grannies onto their faces and stomping on them on my way up the escalator...mmmm righteous vindication...is there anything sweeter??...leave my goat alone!!
