Ok, i know i said i was finished but after today's bout, im back to bring you the news. clash of the titans vol.3 was held today. Jerry's 3rd reich against Steven's allied assault.it was a dreary damp july day. it was 1944 and the invasion on france was in full swing. the battle field was littered with fires.i bring my first wave from the right, consisting of about 5 squads and 4 tanks. the krauts strike with the blitzkrieg from the north, demolishing my first wave in minutes. after the catastrophe in the center, i concentrate on holding my ground to the left. i dig in, handing out nazi propaganda to my troops in an effort to raise morale. then i see it. from the north, the ramirez wermacht is crossing a bridge. the size of the force is immense. the men start to become frightened. they began to give up on hope and words of surrender start to circulate among the foxholes. they can see the infantry and they tanks coming. they lie in wait, waiting to see their fate. little do they know that the krauts cannot see them because they are in ambush formation. just as the gerrys are upon us, reinforcements arrive from the south. what a site it was. the moral instantly shot through the roof. they picked up their rifles with the newly found courage they had recieved. thats when the infantry opened fire. laying waste to anything in their way.
the allied infantry fire was supported on its right flank by sherman tank fire. this combination obliterated the nazis and left them running for cover.with the 2nd wave of germans under control, i was able to concentrate on the massacre of my forces in the middle.the victory point was high on a hill that was covered with wooded areas. there, the germans had dug in.their vantage point was far superior to mine.it was going to be a tough battle, but my men were willing and able. with my left flank secure, i ordered my tank division to the east towards the hill. we will call the hill "Ol' Glory." the tanks made their journey eastward, taking fire from the hill. once in position, they were able to cover the hill top with turret and MG fire. although we had a good position, we didnt nearly have enough man power to make an effective assault on Ol Glory. just then, an enormous reinforcements arrived from the south east. easily we gained about 10 rile squads and 5 tanks with the arrival. the men were in awe. this gave them the faith the needed to make an effective assault on Ol Glory.with the previous tank division positioned on the south western side of the hill, i began to bring the fresh tanks up the east side of the hill. that is were we encountered hell on wheels. just as the tanks pulled up over the ridge, a german panther tank was sighted. surely nothing would stop this unstoppable juggernaut. the pride of the german army was upon us. then she began to breathe fire. destroying tank after tank on the eastern side, she began to make a move towards my forces. well behind the tank battle, the fresh infantry rifle squads made their way to the west, perhaps to make an assualt straight up the go on Ol Glory?w
with the destruction of my whole tank batallion at hand, i had to make a move. with the fate of my entire army at risk, i brought up the rear with to sherman tanks to the eastern side of Ol Glory. with this motion i was able to successfully flank the mighty panther tank, knocking out its main gun and destroying the german beast. down to 2 tanks and 10 rifle squads, victory was in site. now with full tank fire concentrated to the ridge of Ol Glory, i began to carry out the final orders of the battle.with my two remaining tanks on the eastern side of Ol Glory, i called air strikes in to hit the germans who were entreanched in the ridge. after a few rounds of artillery strikes and tank fire, the courageous infantry men made their final assault on the hill. with men dropping everywhere, the pushed on. bullets flying, men dropping, they made their way up the southern side of Ol Glory. they were tired, i could see it in their eyes. Ol Sarge. McMillon begged for a retreat, but i would not give in to those german bastards. i ordered them on, yelling "any man who retreats will hang!" as we ran up the hill.finally, after what seemed like an eternity, we made our way to the summit. there were could see the decimated german army through the wooded summit. men everywhere, it was quite a site. it was one i will never forget. once there, they were no match for me and my men. with supporting tank fire, we were able to successfully route the remaining forces and capture Ol Glory. this my friends was one of the most important battles of the war. without the allied victory at the battle of Ol Glory, the war would have been much different. without those brave boys, who sacraficed their lives, you would all be speaking german right now. three cheers for our boys who gave so much. hip hip, hooray!hip hip, hooray!hip hip hooray!
