The sky today is so interesting.
There are two windows in my room, and my desk/computer area is smack dab between the two. When I look to the left, I can see a sheet of white, so intense that it makes the surrounding darkness of my room turn absolutely black when I focus.
The right-side window has a sky that's beige and brown and grey. It's like being in a pool of dirty dishwater or a HUGE dirty sock. It looks like smog and the trees are whipping around and once or twice, a single leaf will just THROW itself across the sky. It's amazing. And the light keeps on dimming and it's so ominous and grim. I love it, and I love the difference.
I really hope there will be a giant thunderstorm, although preferably not during yoga. Probably wouldn't help that whole relaxation deal.
And now the rain's starting.
Apropos of nothing, I feel like school is in the absolute doldrums right now. It has now been a sufficient amount of time since its beginning, and the work feels like an everpresent ANVIL. And yet, we're not at winter break or half-way through, so it feels like this harried lifestyle will never, ever end. People keep telling me that I look exhausted (and I probably do), but being pale to begin with doesn't really help. It sounds kind of ridiculous, but the most stressful part is the fact that I'm getting good grades. I wonder if I'm ever going to be able to live up to the first marking period - now that I have a grade comparison, I'm stressing out more and doing worse, just trying to live up to it.
And now, a quiz.
1. Pick a band or musician.
2. Answer each question using only their song titles.
Band/Musician: Bloc Party
