Hit a nice low today, complete with typical dark thinking (see->suicidal) which resulted in me sequestering myself in my room and watching a couple episodes of Mononoke before falling asleep. Best option I had, I think, considering the extent of any harm done is slight over heating and being very very hungry. I don't think I like stagnating at home

Glad to hear that you are making out okay with the job lay off and evertyhing. I would be going out of my mind. Maybe now that you are around, we can go to the movies or something.
