birthdays don't make you feel magically 'older.' for some reason i always expect them to, and am always inevitably let down ( ... )

you make very valid points there....which make me think...and yes....inevitably i AM growing up..and im not sure if im ready, because...i dont know who i am yet...which scares me.

I'm here for you girly! I've been through the "I'm not a teen thing". Point usually boils down to... don't think about it. It doesn't matter. You are only ever as old as you feel. So I guess I'm 12 most days right now with a 50 year olds control. ;-} Just know that you have friends and you are becoming a self sufficient person... that's the way the world works and you are working with it... so age doesn't matter. :-P Especially after you turn 21. ;-} *hugs* Just keep working on you!

aw. thanks hun...im working on working on me....its just hard at times...but you know that. and yeh..sometimes i feel 35....and others i still feel like an adolescent...it all depends really..

hey you just wanted you all to know that i am on here as sgttigger and wanted you all also to know that we (my wife and i) are home and we made the trip safely. so i hope things go well for you all and i will be in touch.
