I was wondering how many pics you got to come out with your 70-200? There just didn't seem enough light to use a long lens. I know Whitby can be a little dark, but it *really* was dark to be getting 1/20th sec. I am sure a lot of people must have gotten very blurred photos - unless they used flash of course.

Surprisingly good actually. It'll be next week before I get a chance to go through them all though.

That Sigma 70-200 is really nice - but I need a 400mm for the football really :-(

There is a huge gulf between people taking snaps of their local footie match and the shots pro's get on the sports pages ...

Only went up yesterday. I was more excited about selling through MNS rather than the picture itself. I'm very bouncy about it.

It makes interesting reading. The kit list for a typical football shoot shows a body for every lens! One way to avoid dirt on the CCD I guess.
