I was wondering how many pics you got to come out with your 70-200? There just didn't seem enough light to use a long lens. I know Whitby can be a little dark, but it *really* was dark to be getting 1/20th sec. I am sure a lot of people must have gotten very blurred photos - unless they used flash of course.
I have a 85f1.2 that I mainly use - but zooms are useful, unless you have 1 camera for a wide and another for tele ...something I plan on for next year ;-)
It's an excellent lens the 17-55, and a reason to buy one of Canon's cheaper DSLR's :-)
oooo, water resistant to 5m. I've always wanted a waterproof camera for the beach. Does this mean we'll see some nice surfing pics when your posse head off to Cornwall again????

That Sigma 70-200 is really nice - but I need a 400mm for the football really :-(
