Tender lobes+bit of an intro

Sep 09, 2010 02:42

Hello everyone!

My name is Jessica. Currently I have my lobes stretched to 0g, my left helix pierced, both nipples and recently had my jestrum done (or vertical medusa, whichever you prefer). I have one small tattoo behind my left ear and plans for other tattoos in the future. ( Question under the cut :) )

it sounds to me like you did everything responsibly so i wouldn't worry about it.
if the pain is intense and/or persists you should downsize but personally i've almost always experienced some slight soreness for at least a couple days after a stretch.

You're doing great! I'd say just keep an eye on your ears, and if you notice any bleeding or blowouts, drop a gauge until your ears are healed back up. I haven't had any stretches that felt sore past the first day, though, so I don't know how worried you should be. :T

if its distracting you during the day, take them out and try again in a month or so. if its just a slight tenderness say, when you knock your ears too hard or something, dont worry about it too much. make sure you keep them clean, and dont mess with them.

Maybe downsize to a 1 g? You can get them at bodyartforms. That's what I'm doing cause the jump between 2 and 0 is just too large.

Thanks everyone! I kept them in and now they've settled down. I don't see any signs of a blowout, no blood or anything etc.

I think the jump between 2g and 0g was bigger than the amount between any other sizes and I guess even with taping, my ears needed time to adjust. :)
