Harry Potter Bachelorette Party aka The Best Night of My Life
OH YES! This actually happened. Hello Draco Malfoy~~ (feel free to scroll to the bottom if you just wanna see more of this lovely Draco)
Best. Night. Ever. Where to begin? Basically my friends are absolutely amazing! Basically everything was a surprise and while I thought there might be a few Harry Potter themes or touches I did not expect the incredible effort and plans my friends came up with. Shall we move onto photos as I go through the day?
So, as I got ready I knew I would need two outfits for the night. A more casual, comfortable outfit as we hung out in the park and a more glam, party outfit for the evening.
The first outfit had a bit of a Harry Potter flair, complete with Slytherin socks and my favorite Harry Potter tank top.
Of course I had to go all out and do some super glamorous makeup.
I bought this dress just for this night. I love dresses but my personal style is more vintage, flowy, summer dress kind of thing. I never dress like this but felt like doing something lacy and sexy for the occasion.
So, my friend bangs on the door and when I open it, yes she is dressed like Hagrid and telling me in his accent that she has a letter for me. The letter is from Dumbledore and it states that I need his help as their is mystery and romance abound.
She also handed me a crown, OMG yes with a Drarry picture and a wand for the journey.
We hopped on the train and met more of my friends in the park where we played that game, Slash, as well as an ex boyfriend game. Yes that is a poster board with photos of all the boys. Megan made a great comment about how it looked like an audition for Panic! at the Disco, hahaha. (FYI, I have not dated all of them; some are just boys I’ve only kissed once. Why did I have a photo of every boy I’ve ever kissed? That is a story for an other day… but in my defense I found all these photos in an old photo bucket account haha.)
I was then given red envelopes throughout the evening. GET THIS! Each envelope contained an exert of a continuous Harry/Draco fanfiction that all of my friends wrote! Megan, my maid of honor, gave everyone prompts/a basic plot and what part they would write about, and the story just continued through each one, every part written by a different friend. It was amazing! Haha, mind you none of my friends are really writers, and there was some crazy typos and grammar and character issues but that made it all the more amazing. If anyone is interested I can get a hold of the digital copies and post here for you guys! I love that my friends who (except for two in attendance) never read or write fanfiction went along and did this. Also in the envelopes were spells I could use that would do certain things (i.e. make someone do a dare, reveal next party location, ect.)
We then ventured off to eat where I was given some amazing gifts:
This was put on the beers we were drinking when I looked away for a second. Haha it was amazing!
My friend Kassie got me an amazon giftcard as well as making this little card-type thing for me. AMAZING!
My friend Kim got me this sexy little number. :]
My friend Lee got me some lovely Lush goodies!
And my friend Bitna got me this beautiful necklace.
Oh and the Draco Malfoy, who came later, gave me this incredible snake necklace that’s head is magnetic and attaches to the body.
Then, we arrived at the Karaoke bar in our private room and Megan made everyone put on an actual sorting hat and had pre-made questions for everyone (that she wrote herself) to figure out what house they should be sorted in. Once sorted, we received colored beads to signify what house we were in.
AND THEN DRACO MALFOY WALKED IN! I was floored. OMG you guys, I did not see that coming. No he was not a stripper (although he did take off his shirt at the very end haha) But he was AMAZING and stayed in character the entire time, saying that he liked me even though I was a muggle. He didn’t fall in love with Harry or talk about him much (I was so smitten I could care less. ::swoon::) but he mostly ‘hit’ on me the entire time and was just so very Draco and on point. He sang a few songs, drank with us a bit, and was all kinds of incredible. He serenaded me, we sang a duet, and danced together as well. I am hoping to get more videos from my friends soon. I told him a little about my fanfiction, showed him the photos of me dressed as Draco and even my NSFW erotic H/D picture I drew last month.
He then left, after he gave me the snake necklace, claiming that while he thought I was lovely I was still a muggle and he couldn’t settle with that. Haha, but he forget his jacket and came back five minutes later with his shirt off and we got this great staged kiss.
Having done theatre myself it felt more like a stage kiss than anything passionate (despite its appearance hah) and we had to do it three times for the camera/photos but Ahhh his lips were so soft… Hahaha, anyway….
So yeah that was it! What an incredible night. After he left I got a little sad and the party winded down anyway so we all ventured off and went home. I’m still feeling a little down today (this always seems to happen to me after something really exciting or fun happens… I think it has to do with my anxiety and hormones, etc. but that’s a post for a different day.)
