it's still so weird to me that i'll be graduating this december. who knew i'd finish a semester early?? all thanks to spencer and the ACE classes i took.
some things i'm looking forward to in the somewhat near future-
- WINTER - isn't that weird??
- going to the Sabres season opener game vs. montreal this friday with joe, which conveniently falls on our 2 year anniversary
- snowboarding on my new board joe bought me for christmas :)
- going to KILLINGTON , VT to snowboard sometime in january!!
- spending thanksgiving at my dad's
- going back to Douthat for camping next spring, and not being limited to spring-break week!!!!! so we can go when its a little warmer!!!!!!
- the sonic drive-in opening in january in kingston
- spending christmas and new years with joe
- going to NP hockey games
- playing hockey on sundays
- moving out of new paltz next may and having a yard sale!
- looking into grad schools eventually
- going to toronto or montreal after i graduate.. or in may
things that are not as good -
- trying to find a job for next semester
- trying to find a job in the rome/utica area after we move out..
- figuring out wtf i really want to do in terms of work
- finishing my huge org comm seminar research project
- all the crap i have due next week, after the long weekend. blar.
- turning my ankle during street hockey made me miss actual hockey practice the next day.. so that sucked a little. gave me a chance to take some good pictures of joe though so check those out on facebook when he updates it ;)
i'm pretty impressed that my list of things i'm looking forward to outweighs the negatives for once. woo!
i'm also hoping that we can organize some more football and street hockey and whatever else like we did this weekend! and maybe this year we can have some hockey parties on the weekends or something? since we have center ice we really should have people over more, even though most of the devils/rangers/islanders games are played on cable anyway.
well i should go clean and unpack from going home last weekend.. heh.
