Mega and Line: Location Unknown: Java the Prisoner?

Apr 27, 2005 04:37

Mega had dismissed Line once he'd administered the shot, watching as Java had stood up, ripping the bandaid from her arm and cursing about how his henchman had purposefully hurt her. His simple reaction to that had been a mere eyebrow raise, uninterested and unimpressed, watching as she rolled the sleeve of her shirt back down. "Now, you won't be doing anything stupid, Java," he informed her, and it came out as a simple statement, not a question. Her reaction had been narrowed eyes, demanding in a soft almost playful tone what he'd meant by that, and Mega simply cocked his head to the side, his eyebrows flicking upwards slightly, waiting. He knew what was in the "antidote", what was held in that needle, and he knew where Mr. Line was, exactly, at this moment too. Java said something rather unimportant and Mega had a hard time hiding his smirk as she spun on her heel and stopped to wobble, losing her center of balance so badly that she took a few steps to the side.

Rushing to her side, Mega asked if she was sure she wanted to go home now, but not in that concerned, caring way, rather in an amused factual way, and her slurred rebuttal was hardly anything he'd expect from Java. The left side of her face was going limp, however, so he wouldn't hold it against her. In moments his men had come into the room, and though Java put up what she probably saw as a complete battle, it was quite easy to move her back onto the bed. "Strap her down men," Mega ordered, watching as they pulled out the straps already in place on the solid metal frame of the bed and kept her confined pretty tightly. Java was not unconscious, but she was unable now to verbally respond, which was his ideal situation.

Dismissing his men, and inviting Mr. Line to stay if he liked, Mega simply put a pair of VR glasses on Java, the prototype that Tai-San was always itching to get her hands on, and began the program from across the room where his men had wheeled in a computer set up just for this situation. Plugging in, Mega began the scan, waiting as the program did it's business, looking smugly at Line, though it didn't really show.
