whenever i write the words come from a narrator in my head
it's how i wish i sounded, talking face to face.
everything is thought out, eloquent, spontaneous, like reading from a journal where the ideas and the pace of me writing them came in sink (which never happens, by the way. i'm always too quick and just loose some of it's freshness)
the voice is of Ophelia. i really like that name. it's of the main character in White Oleander. Or the girl in Two Days In Paris who's a photographer even though she's half-blind in little speckles across her retina.
sometimes it's you.
sometimes i'll imagine you reading what i'm writing in class. if you'll stop here. breathe there. emphasize like i imagined i wish i could sound in my head.
it's addictive.
i wish you could hear the voice of these women, just talking shit out of their mouths that somehow forms a perfect rhythm. perfect poetry without even trying.
sorry about that last journal entry. it really sucked. that was me pulling lines from the conversation i was having in the AC lobby the period before the journal was due. my bad. :/
