I like to think of myself as a morning person. I never needed too much caffeine to get me going. I think I just might be the only person at work who doesn't drink 2 cups of coffee before a morning shift...most of the time.
It mostly depends on the weather. If it's cold outside, meaning the time period between October and May, it'll take me a little longer to get going. When I was younger, my Mom would have to rip the sheets off my bed to make me get ready for school. Being in a warm bed on a day that's cold and rainy nearly drives me to call in sick. it's easier in the summer because I can look forward to work, where the temperature hovers somewhere between a meat locker, and the middle of the sahara. Depends on how much that guys in Maintenance are getting paid.
The rest of my morning depends on the shift. If I dont get puked on, spit at, or bit, I call it a good day. I used to put getting squirted with blood on that list, but I came to realize that it's just another perk in this job. I try to make it a point to come in early, especially when Weaver decides to take a shift downstairs. The first (and last, I might add) time I was late, she put me on scut duty for the whole shift. I've always tried staying on her good side, just not the same way Morris does these days.
