belonging to the school of riot grrl is a difficult thing sometimes.
sorta off topic, but i just finished up a week of teaching at girls rock camp. brock and i did music HERstory class, and riot grrl day was totally the best. unlike the other days when the girls in class would give really vague opinions toward the artists ("do you guys like bessie smith?" "uh, i guess"), they had really strong opinions about what they did and did not like. and we spent the last 15 mintues doing the le tigre deceptacon dance to the video on youtube. SO MUCH FUN
