Daisy just died. Nathan was saying hello to Teal'c (everyone loves him, he's the cutest) and he noticed she wasn't breathing anymore. She at least seemed to be in less pain these last couple weeks, so I'm glad I didn't have her put down last month. I don't think I'll properly absorb it till I clean out the cage. Miraculously, Daisy did not die over last weekend as I had anticipated. Though she was hardly drinking and had stopped eating entirely, she just kept going. Then 2 days ago she began to drink more, and yesterday she was much more awake/aware/alive than she has been in forever. She even started eating again.
