Christmas was okay in the end. We drove up to Perth at 10.30, and arrived just in time for lunch. We had beautiful weather; not too hot, not too cold. By the end of the evening, though, we were all screwed due to lack of sleep (we went to Midnight Mass the night before. So I ran out of money yesterday. I tried to buy myself a perfume but it said my card was declined. I paid in cash, and headed straight for the nearest ATM to check my balance. Let's just say my eyes popped out. So I gave Dad my card, voluntarily, of course, and requested that he kept it until I had $1000 in my account. I managed to snag myself 28 ( Read more... )
