Yes.. stuff.

Ugh. I should stop loitering around on the net reading stuff that makes me feel bad. Honestly: I should go out.. and run. Of course, this summer (this whole YEAR) has really sucked with my injuries. Yesterday I hurt my neck while walking to the kitchen. FUN.
Tomorrow Germany plays against England!!! OMG. FEELING SCARED. Basically, it could go either way. However, I fear that England’s experience and great desire to beat the Germans will triumph. Even with Schweinsteiger playing. If he's out though, it might as well be, congratulations England. Then again: one never knows. Anyway.. I hope to not feel too bad. ;) And hopefully have already managed to run... (Stupid ankle!!) Because after that I don’t know what I feel like doing. XDD (Maybe I’ll watch “Das Wunder von Bern” to comfort me. I have the DVD, but have yet to watch it)

Anyway the last games of the group stages have been played. And it's time for the 2nd stage! :D I often hear (esp. from my brother) how Spain play such beautiful (attacking) football and Brazil fun (attacking) football, and Germany is so very boring and mechanical. Yeah. Well.. styles change. Germany hasn't ever seemed boring to me and esp. now I don't know what to expect. XDD (Actually that's a bad thing) Anyway: Apparently Brazil and Portugal played a crappy, boring and goalless game, which I luckily didn't watch. (There wasn't much to play for there.. but it doesn't mean that either shouldn't at least TRY to play football). And Spain... Oh yes, spent the last half hour just passing the ball around and not even trying to score against Chile's 10 men. My Dad was frustrated and declared it the worst football he has ever seen.
Chile was awesome though. I was hoping that they would win the group and then face Portugal. I'd have preferred Spain to be 2nd in their group and thus facing Brazil, (and one of the big faves would be out early... preferably Brazil. XDD)
I fear that Chile won't be able to beat Brazil's samba football disciplined football. I'll still be rooting for them, so hard! Their reckless attacking football was very impressive. Go, Chile!!

Hmm.. there were some big surprises. For example, Group F as a whole was a big surprise. Paraguay was the only non-surprise. :D
Ghana from group D was a bit of a surprise as well.. I thought they'd be last in their group. I guess it's good that an African country is through as well. D was definitely the most even group. Poor Australia and Serbia were pretty unlucky.
Brazil&Portugal making it out of the “death group”: DUH. Poor North Korea had no chance. I fear for the players. Nobody knows what they'll have to face. They did put up a great performance against Brazil and they had spirit. Sadly, they just weren’t good enough.
There’s a lot of praise for the South Americans, the whole American continent actually and wonder over the European countries’ “sucking”. Weeellll…. Okay. That’s actually true. But aside of France and Italy, it hasn’t been all that bad. And a lot depends on who his facing whom and when.
In 2006 four European countries were in the top 4. This year it's impossible, since one out of Ghana USA, Paraguay and South Korea is bound to make it. Which in a way.. could be considered a bit of a surprise. Which in a way, is good. :D Also interesting: ALL the European countries still left in the tournament are facing EACH OTHER. So only 3 can make it to the quarterfinals...
THAT sucks. :( The Brazil vs. Spain final is still possible. (As is Brazil vs. Argentina... Oh gosh.. I hope THAT won't happen. XDD)

Following matches:
Uruguay vs. South Korea
Hmm.. Either is fine. I hope for South Korea to take it though. ;) there are too many South-American countries
USA vs. Ghana
USA impressed me. I didn’t think I would root for them, but these guys have been really trying hard. I gained a lot of respect for them. Go USA! (on the other hand Ghana is Africa’s only hope. They do need to start scoring non-penalty goals though.)
Germany vs. England
GERMANY. Nobody come near me if they lose to England!! I'll be feeling murderous! XDD Scary, scary match.
Argentina vs. Mexico
Mexico. Hands down. But Argentina will prob. win. *sighs*
Netherlands vs. Slovakia
I wish these two were't facing each other. *sighs* I'm more for the Netherlands though.
Brazil vs. Chile
CHILE!!! It’s a pity they have to face Brazil. They deserve to go much further.
Paraguay vs. Japan
Japan has also impressed me with their spirit. And my brother and Dad (with their football) to the extent that they’ve been rooting for them in the games against Denmark and the Netherlands while I was the one for the other two. XDD They’ve won we over now. So: Ganbare Nippon! :D
Spain vs. Portugal
I wish Spain was facing Brazil (and knocking them out) and Chile Portugal (and knocking them out.) Now.. not so sure. If Germany loses to England I'm for Spain. Otherwise.. Oh, I still might be for Spain. XDD

And Day 2:
Favourite Anime You've watched So Far
DIGIMON ADVENTURE. There's nothing that can come close to it. It's one of the first anime series I've watched, and prob. the most inlfuential one. I can ramble for ages about the plot the characters, the development of the previous two and the deeper meanings.
Also: Never diss Digimon Adventure. NEVER. I'm very passionate about this series. XDD
