hungover so i have feelings...
yeah...funny but true. hungover seems to turn off my brain just enough that i can keep it from being distracted and actual feel things. pretty messed up. im at a coffee shop havin an iced decaf coffee and just walkin around boulder. its fun. im still mixed up, fucked up, confused, and floatin along. i dont know exactly what i want, and not even what i dont want. hah. the later in the day it gets, the harder it gets to know anything. im just a mornin thinker i guess. if i didnt have any ties right now i think id move someplace. maybe austin for a while and live with paul and shan. thatd be funny. go have beers with matt and work some part time job somewhere until i felt human again. or maybe move off to venice beach and hope for the best. met this chick the other night on the cruiser ride who used to live in LA and we were talkin how itd be so tight just to pick up and end up in venice and let things go. im not hatin boulder too much right now, its just as not confused as california which seems to fit me lately. everyone here seems to have it figured out, and thats boring and sad.
well my CISSP class was pretty intense. boring as hell, but intense. sucks tho cause i cant take the test til august at the earliest as the july test is totally booked. i love the summer. love girls walkin round in tank tops and flowy skirts. heh. anyhow, yeah im gonna get some reading time in that isnt just computer stuff and that is good. takes stress off but does annoy me i gotta wait.
work is going well as usual. they want me to be the networking liason for educause. as in computer networks, disaster recovery, and other best practice technical stuff. so im going to this thing called WestNet which is a mix of high level networkin engineers and technical CIOs from the universities between Kansas and Cali. these guys run the gigapop for that entire area so its pretty crazy. but yeah, my employees suck and i dont like working anymore except for the high level thinking but id rather just tend to some plants somewhere lately.
