So I've been thinking more and more about not doing classroom teaching but resource teaching instead. I'm so much more comfortable working in small groups or one-on-one where I can really figure out what the individual student's thinking and needing. I know it'd be hard. I saw a bit of what the teachers do when I worked as an IA last year. It'd be hard, and I'd have to be firmer, but right now it's very intriguing.

Or counselling. But that would be even harder emotionally-speaking. But I like to think I'm a good listener, and I like to think I could help people. I've always enjoyed listening to councilling shows on TV (From grade 8 to grade 10 or 11 I spent hours listening to Rhona at Night when I should have been sleeping!) and even though having Councillor Troi as a favourite character doesn't indicate a future career choice, it's something that interests me.

The downside to these two options though, is the fact that I wouldn't ever get to do lab demos or use my Anthro knowledge in any meaningful way.

The other option to use the BEd and not deal with twenty or more kids at once is doing educational TV programming.

But that's all a few years down the road. I need to get through this practicum first. And that would mean getting back to quiz-creating...
