Why, why, why to the temp agency gods hate us? Phil didn't get paid on Wednesday like he was supposed to. So he called his boss, who said she had it straightened out and he'd get paid either yesterday, or more likely today. Nope, he didn't. Good thing I postponed my mortgage payment. I originally had it set up to pay today, but I rethought it and set it for next week.
UPDATE
Now it looks like he won't get paid again until NEXT week when he'll get 2 weeks pay. They apparently had "technical issues" and will only process payroll on Tuesdays. BULLSHIT. If they had technical issues, they should have informed people THEN PROCESSED PAY ROLL AS SOON AS IT WAS RESOLVED. Fuckers. Phil said he's going to make a big deal about the inconvienence but not about getting it early. WHICH MAKES NO SENSE TO ME. If it was me, I would NOT leave them alone until they paid me.
