"Last summer I made this townie girl moan without even using my hands"... I can't have been the only one whose mind immediately lept to "tongue". And if I was? I feel sort of sorry for the sad state of non-filthiness on my flist. *g*

Ha! You know why I didn't immediately think tongue in that way? Because they have not gotten past second base, dammit! We will get to see the rest at some point, or there will be rioting. *g* And can I just say that I loved that he called her "townie." I don't know why, but it was so perfect.

As for the Oscar and the keys, I think that has to be it. Why Duncan would be suspected of having it is beyond me, but I guess it's just to prove doubt, because Duncan could have been framing Aaron. Oh, Aaron. You're going to get off, you sick fuck. I love it!

I liked the cinematography much better this episode.

The second half of the season has shown some obvious and not-so-obvious signs of improvement, at least imho. And I like it. I like that they are fixing some of the things that were wrong.

Well, I'm sure Logan's tongue is talented enough to make a townie girl moan even if they haven't gotten past second base. There are plenty of spots to use it on anyway. Also, it could have been tongue in conjunction with other body parts, such as a strategically placed leg. Just saying. *ahem*

Good point about Duncan framing Aaron. Though if their defense is "Duncan did it in a fit of rage", which it seemed like in Aaron's jail cell interview, the premeditation of stealing an Oscar statue seems weird.

I thought that last week looked cheap and tacky for the most part, but I loved certain scenes from this week. Like Weevil under the car? Pretty.

It took me a while to figure out what the heck Veronica was doing with that chalk and the car. I'm not sure how it helped her to know that Gia told the truth about the sticker, but whatever.

I think the point was to find out exactly what sticker it was, and it was a Fightin' Irish mascot, which pointed to the Fighting Fitzpatricks as the culprits.

See, I couldn't even figure out what it was. May be a cultural thing, but I thought it used up a lot of time when they could have just left the sticker on instead of doing that whole thing with the chalk. It was just dull.

Jumping in here... but I was thinking the sticker was removed because they thought it would be a tell-tale characteristic of the car. But you're right, it did seem like a lot of effort for that scene.

That's true, but I was also thinking that it was her way of making sure that the two cars were connected. I mean, yeah, there's not that many green muscle cars of that nature in the Neptune area, but - at the same time - who's to say that Jackie got the car right? By her own admission, she doesn't know cars and 7 months have already passed. Memories fade after a bit, so I think that Veronica was also wanting to make sure that the two situations were connected.

Also, why would Aaron want his own statue to be used? What connection does Duncan have with one of Aaron's Oscars?
My thought was that he wanted it to appear that Duncan was trying to frame him.

Thank you for remembering that quote. And no, you weren't the only one. *fans self*

Wow. Did I just miss a really confusing episode or what? *sighs* Damn UPN for not showing where I live!! *curses the cable network* I guess I'll just wait to find out more...but it seems like things are really starting to flesh out.

And holy crap, Kendall isn't really Kendall? Oye...*is horribly weak when it comes to avoiding spoilers*

Weevil's explanation about why he was following the bus seems mightily thin. I mean, I guess it could be the case, but I'm gonna keep my healthy dose of scepticism alive and kicking for now.

As much as I love Weevil as a character and wished he wouldn't be the one who crashed the bus he chilled me to the bones this episode.

When V. is asking about Thumper and tells Weevil that he will miss the prom, Weevil answers,"He'll be crushed."

This is either pure evil (and somewhat to easy-going about the murder especially after his guilt ridden face in confession) or maybe he doesn't know that Thumper has indeed been crushed. Could someone else have done it after all? I believe that Weevil might wield the mighty sword of justice, but to make quips about it later on? I don't know. And if he is that cold-blooded I do think the bus crash might have been initiated by him - for what reasons I don't know...

Well, did Weevil really know EXACTLY what they were gonna do with Thumper? He knew they would kill him, but I really don't think he had any way of knowing the whole stadium imploded on top of him. I took it as Weevil smiling about him being crushed because he knew he couldn't really be crushed feelings wise. And the whole comment just meant so much more to us knowing what really happened.

Hmmm, I guess you might be right.

I just assumed that Weevil connected the dots as we were first shown how the arena blew up and then him in confession. To me it seemed like he knew what had happened but there isn't any indication of that in the episode itself or in the following one. *ponders*

Thinking back (okay, rewatching the umpteenths time) Veronica herself set the chipper tone of the exchange - so what does she believe that happened to Thumper? That Weevil bought him a plane ticket?
