Does anyone else kind of keep shields up around other people? I think it's why being around people I don't know well tires me so much, and why when I'm really upset/depressed/unstable-feeling I can't bear to be around anyone, not even people who I'm really close to.

Dunno how others feel about this subject but I suspect that its part and parcel of the INFP outlook to care and wonder about such things (along with everything else I suppose).
