Gah, I know I haven't updated in a while.

You'll be glad to know its because I've been plugging away at my novel, draft #2. Some good things are coming out of it. I've edited 1/3 of it and have made a good concrete plan for the second third. I want to be done by the 24th of Feb so I can submit it to the WLT contest, but it will be a tough deadline ( Read more... )

I am still sick. Sore throat, no voice, hard to swallow, mucus everywhere, tired as cat in the sun, but not as happy.

I went to the health center three times this week. With antibiotics, I can at least swallow food, so I'm not starving anymore.

Whine, Complain, Whine...

I went to the health center today.

I have tonsilitis. I don't know yet if it is viral or bacterial, but they are sending a culture to the lab today, and I should know by tomorrow.

I'll scream on LJ since I can't in RL with my painful, messed up tonsils in the way:
AARRRGGGHHHH!!!

So, poor Gunnar has the flue hardcore. His temp was 103 yesterday, and he still feels really bad. The health center prescribed him some meds, and prescribed me the same thing to keep me from getting it, seeing as I'm an RA and all. I made him soup and jello yesterday, and after I run some errands today, I'll do the same.

I didn't get sick all semester. I took my vitamins every day. And now it's vacation and guess what? I'm sick. >.< Christmas was good, and sitting around the house doing nothing isn't so bad either...but blah.
