I was talking to my mother yesterday and I told her I wasn't comfortable with physical affection. She told me "I guess your going to be very lonely then". Is it such a big deal for someone to wait a while for me to get comfortable with them? Or is that an off the wall subject? I just don't see what the rush is with everything.

I missed the memo stating that relationships were judged on the amount of how physical the couple is.
