Following in the trend of things, I guess I'll write about my Spring Break. I went to Cape San Blas, FL, with Nathan and his friends Ashley, Abbe, Kevin, and Devin. We had a lovely time. We basically just sat on the beach all day, and then hung out at night, occasionally going back to the beach to start fires and stuff. The first day there Nathan and I found a dead dolphin on the beach. It's pretty nasty, but there's a good picture of Nathan pretending to hit it with a 2 by 4. I saw a lot of things for the first time, like dolphins, an alligator, an armadillo (who knew there were armadillos in Florida?!), a shooting star, and a shark. One day on the beach, there were about three dolphins swimming around about 20 feet from the edge of the water. It was really cool to see them. Then, Nathan and I went to a park where we saw an alligator and an armadillo. I saw the shooting star when we were swimming. We went swimming in one of the pools one night as a group, and I looked up for a second and saw a shooting star. On our last day we were relaxing on the beach right at sunset, and our neighbors (an older couple we called 'Wisconsin', since that's where they were from) got really excited and yelled for us to come to the edge of the water. We didn't know what they were so excited about, and then up pops a shark fin, about 15 feet from the edge of the water. We were swimming in that exact spot about 20 minutes earlier, so it was really scary. It was also really cool, though. I found a sand dollar in the bay while Nathan and I were wading, but it got crushed into a million pieces on the way home. I was sad. We went into a little town called Apalachicola to eat "The biggest fish sandwich in the world" one day. I had a hamburger because I don't like fish and I got these awesome chocolate covered mango flavored coconut things. They were deeelicious. The boys made breakfast in bed for the ladies one morning, so that was nice. The most exciting thing we did was dig a giant hole. It is about 5 and a half feet deep (we hit water and couldn't dig deeper) and we actually made it two holes connected by a passage way with stairs leading out of it. It took us a few days, but the end result was pretty amazing. People stopped by about every day to comment on us, and cute old man filmed us digging it. We made a lot of friends that way. Anyway, I'll try to post pictures on my webshots later so you guys can check them out. On our way home, the car broke down. We had just crossed the line into Indiana, just over the bridge from Louisville, when the car died. The state police came and then left us (they sucked), we called a wrecker, and didn't get home until about 7:30 yesterday morning (about 5 hours after we were supposed to). Our car had me, Nathan, Abbe, and Ashley in it because the other two boys weren't coming back to Terre Haute that night. They kept going on home and didn't come back to help us out, so we were pretty pissed about that. The wrecker came (he was really scary and smoked a lot) and since there weren't enough seats in his truck, we had to call the police to pick us up to take us to the garage. So, Nathan rode with the scary wrecker and the three girls had our first ever ride in the back of a police vehicle. They dropped us off at Pep Boys at about 2:30/3 in the morning, and we walked over to Kroger to wait for Ashley's brother to pick us up from Indy. The lady working there was really nice and let us look at magazines and drive the motorized cart things around the store. My dad picked up me, Nathan, and Abbe in Greencastle and brought us back to the Haute. I fell asleep and then went with Mom to see Jonathan Jensen's final performance in Jekyll and Hyde. He was pretty creepy, and Loren Gurman had a death scene. He died smiling, as one would expect of him. Actually, he just started laughing after he died, which I guess is more what you would expect. On the Friday before break, I got a speeding ticket. I was going 52 in a 30 on my way to class, and I didn't see the officer until he was behind me with lights flashing. He was like, "Next time you see a police car pulled over with a radar gun out the window, slow down." I was like, "Yeah, if I would have fucking seen you I would have slowed down, dumbass." But, I took my ticket politely and then cried because I have no money to pay for said ticket. I have until April 11 to go into court or whatever and plead guilty for my crime. Booo. So, the beginning and end of my break could have been better, but the middle was awesome. Sorry this entry is random and jumpy, but I can't focus enough to write coherently.

Hope you all had nice breaks and update soon!
