This is not good, not good at all. I need to step up my plans to get out of this town, and soon. Not easy, since I'm currently car-less and wrestling with the insurance company.

Something went wrong with the spell. I wasn't completely sure when I saw Taffy and Jordan together at graduation, but they looked awfully friendly for people who were supposed to be complete strangers. But it brought back the dream from the hospital and the feeling that someone knew where the box was buried, so afterward I had to go out and look at it. It was broken in two. If that wasn't alarming enough, the ghost was acting up again, knocking me and my trowel around. And then it was like a storm came out of nowhere and a bolt of lightning very nearly hit me. I swear, I saw eyes glaring at me out of the clouds. I just left it and ran for the safety of my apartment, but there is something very frightening going on here.

I can't help but think Taffy is behind it all. She must have found some way to counter the spell, which means she must know it was me and for all I know she has something to do with the ghost as well. I haven't forgotten the ghost I thought was haunting the theater. Maybe it's all connected in some strange way.

I decided right then I need to get rid of her completely. Send her...elsewhere. I can't have her looking over my shoulder and mucking up everything I do. I pored over my books all weekend, and I've found a spell that's supposed to open a portal to other dimensions. I've never tried anything like this before, but it seems just the thing. I've collected the crystals I'll need for it, made the incense. I had to dodge the ghost and the weather all the way here, but I'm outside her house, the circle cast and ready to go. Goodbye Miss Dante.

*I chant the incantation in Latin and burn the incense, blackening the crystals in the smoldering herbs. A surge of swirling energy wells up and I project it into the house. I can just barely see through the window as a rift opens, and give my nemesis a magical push into it.*
