Well, tomorrow I start at EB Games. It's gonna be...hard. I can't tell all the reasons why but I'll outline the ones I can.
EB was always the enemy. They were the competition. I worked for Gamestop and now I'm going into enemy lines.
Things are going to be so different. When I went from Gamestop to Gamestop, certain things changed but some remained constant. Now when I go to EB, those constant elements will be thrown out the window. "Thank you for calling EB Games." Would you like to buy our EDGE card? They're computer system is different, etc. Not big things but just enough that I know I'm gonna answer the phone as Gamestop and try and sell them our MORE card. Plus the computer system is a little different.
I hate Dave. I hate most of the people there. How am I supposed to pretend I like them?
Oh and Diane didn't give them my availability so my schedule is already screwed. Nice.
Oh well. The pay's good.
Man I turned on the TV and started crying with the ending of 'Ten Things I Hate About You'. *sigh*
