I think I'm getting used to it.

The constant subzero temperatures, that is. It snowed again this afternoon. About another inch on top of what we already had, and it was soft and dry; pure powder. Made me wish I was swishing down a mountain.

But it's been below freezing all day, and I'm not even shivering all the time anymore.

Like always, I am super-psyched for all my new classes. Conducting, especially. It's going to be so so fun, and really relevant to my career (choir teacher). I even got a chance to get up and conduct the class through a short Bach chorale. Fermatas and all. Yippee! However, my prof is concerned that I dance a little too much when I conduct... oops!

And, for our last project, we get to choose a group to conduct for real, like in a concert. I'm going to guest conduct my Vocal Jazz group and somehow videotape it for the class! So fun, right?

Finally: further evidence that I have some bigtime issues with correct spelling and grammar. My biggest boss sent out an email containing the word "loose" when what she meant was "lose." And I seriously considered emailing her to tell her she was wrong. What is wrong with me? Who died and made me Queen of the English Language?

Rest assured, no such email was sent. My boss will have to live in ignorance, I guess.

And, I'm spent.
