80's hair is back!

No, don't worry, it's not the new hair style. At least I don't think it is. But, my hair has almost fully recovered from the strait perms I put in my freshman year. It isn't quite as curly as it was. People have tried to tell me that it has been the same, but I bust out the pictures from highschool and they shut up. But I am relatively pleased with my hair. Except I wish it were longer. But I'm getting there. Ok, so I'm going to quit talking about my hair. I was just a little excited after I finished blow drying it.

Since I live off campus, but in reality close enough to walk, I ride my bike to shorten a twenty minute walk down to a five minute ride. Well, riding through campus between 11 and 1 is a death sentence for all involved. And I know this, and I know that the walking people deserve the sidewalk, and I really don't want to get in anyone's way. I really don't like conflict (anymore) so I don't want to piss people off. So this guy suddenly stops in front of me, which would be a no-no no matter who was behind him. I was going at the same speed as everyone else in the crowd. So I came to a complete stop behind him. So this chick that was sitting on the bench that he had stopped to talk to started yelling, "Hey, move out of the biker's way! She is about to hit you!" Um, at a complete stop, heavy bookbag, tired, not going to hit anyone. He had a better chance of being hit by the pedestrians that he stopped suddenly in front of! Grrrrr! Ok, end rant. I have more things I would like to say, but I don't have the energy for it, and I will sound even more like a whiney spoiled brat than I care to be.

Ann was supposed to leave for Indy by 12. But she hasn't gotten back from last night's sharade. It's 140. Maybe I should call. She probably will be like, "No, I just haven't left yet." But say it in her voice that sounds as if I'm a little kid that needs to be consoled. Sometimes I think I really do sound like a little kid. For example, I really want Keith's girlfriend to feel like she is welcome and accepted, especially since her boyfriend is living with two girls. I realized on Thursday that I think I greet her with a little too much enthusiasm. Kind of like the kindergardener on the second day of school. Someone just strolled in. It might be Ann. Nope, it's Keith. Nope, it is probably Joe (Ann's bf) Yep, joe and Ann came in. No worries. Because I know you all were really concerned.

Hmm, It is going on 2. Maybe I should eat lunch. Good idea. Have a great day all!
