We were in the midst of our meeting, trying to decipher a meaning in all of Ashmore actions, when Jack was radio'd from the roof with news that Ashmore was mounting another attack. We immediately took up arms and headed to the roof, to second floor windows. Only this time, it seems as though he is not holding back. For some reason there is comfort in that. Though it goes against the theories we were working as to why he hadn't so far. Perhaps it could be that the attack on his camp last night prodded him into using full force.

Why are they only targeting the second floor and roof? The only way into the school is throgh the downstaris entrances which are guarded, however we are fighting from the upper eschelons of the building. We have only suffered minor injuries, certainly he could have killed each of us ten times over by now. Why would he keep us alive? Then there is the matter that Jack noticed about the vampires, why would he suddenly protect the thing he seemingly treated as expendable? His goal is raising an army of Turok Han which means he needs to open the seal and in order to do that he needs to have a sacrifice...Of course. Thats it. Oh, oh dear.
