Ashmores troops have rallied themselves outside the school. Attack seemed eminent, yet they stay there. Not moving. It has raised everyone frustrations. It is one thing to know that an attack is coming it is an entirely different one. It is as if he is taunting us. We have done everything we can defensively, howvere his forces outnumber us at the very least five to one. If he should choose to come at us, we would fight, I am just not sure how much of a chance we would stand against him.
We had a meeting, to discuss our options. I am afraid i have hatched what might be considered by all to be a very bad plan. I can relate to to Dylan entirely too much at this point in time. It is a frightening thing. I understand now how he feels when he hatches his cockamamie ideas, he feels desperate and like ther is no other way. That is how I feel at this moment. Which is why I suggested we ask Dylan to open the portal to Emily Annes dimenesion and retrieve her to help. There are a few in our group that have definitely voiced dissproval for this plan. Young Penn with the most vehemenence. I am aware how wrong it is to force him to work with Emily Anne after what she had done to him. I understand how he feels, being asked to accept Angel back into the fold after all that Angelus had done. I would never ask anyone to do the same. Though a mute point now, I was half hoping she would come and be a different person, more the girl who saved me than the girl who hurt those others.
Dylan was rather quite against it. Not that I blame the boy. He did offer to consider retrieving Stephen, Connors dimensional double and where as I think a slayer with vampire strength would stand the best chance against the Turok Han, if the Stephen is like Connor in strength and skill, we will take his help. Dylan offered to talk it over with the rest of his group, especially Connor. I have to say I am proud of the boy, he did learn quite a few lessons from sending Emily Anne through that portal.
Now we wait for reinforcements, hope they arrive soon enough. Jack wishes to go on the offensive. I do not blame him there. It has been disconcerting waiting for the proverbial other shoe to drop. I am all for some sort of offensive move, perhaps, if it is successful, it will help to boost the morale of the rest of the group.
