(no subject)
I keep forgetting to ask Buffy about the axe so I can try the spell on it. She's been so busy with her new marriage to Spike, and I hate to disturb the lovebirds' honeymoon. So I've turned my attention to the business. After buying my groceries the other day and watching people line up for coffee to carry around with them, I decided that's just the sort of thing we need to keep people shopping at the Magic Box. Snacks. Perhaps chips and soft drinks...maybe soft serve ice cream?
Dylan called the other night...he seemed a bit more labile than usual and kept repeating, "I love you, man." While nice to hear, once was plenty. So I changed the subject and ran my new plan by him, and he was very enthusiastic. He suggested a pizza station could be very nice, too. I shall think about it, that might require several more employees, while I am sure that Theresa could handle thesoftserve and drinks just fine. Although, I wonder if I should worry, she hasn't been in to work since we returned from Las Vegas. I'm sure she'll turn up, though.
Anya, in any case, liked the notion once I explained it would keep customers in the shop longer, and possibly increase sales. Although she had an interesting suggestion about doing a spell that would keep customers in the shop until they actually purchased something, which is an interesting idea. I think I shall research it and see if it could be done. In the meantime, I need to make some phone calls to restaurant supply houses.
