Anya called yesterday and told me that
Cristoff had up and quit on her. You know, I had the feeling all along that the fellow was unreliable...after all, we did start our acquaintance with him unexpectedly squatting in my apartment. Oh well, no matter I suppose, we are between big magical holidays and I will be on my reduced schedule at the museum soon. Strangely, I rather look forward to becoming more active at the shop, I've been missing it. Spending more time with Anya might be rather refreshing, too.
She did suggest that perhaps we could hire a student to do odd jobs at the shop. I wonder if a student might get in trouble in a magic shop, so many spells are so easily set off by the unwary. However, I will give it some thought,
Dawn has managed to survive thus far without doing any major damage. Actually, come to think of it
Willow perhaps had the most magical accidents over the years.
I wonder how she and
Tara are faring sorting out the spells in LA? Hopefully better than my lame attempts at finding a magical fix for
Spike's madness. I rather think the lack of speech was making
Dylan a little batty, I checked my e-mail this morning and found dozens of messages from him over the last week. It may take some time to sort through them all, but he forwarded a couple from
Wesley that were utterly nonsensical.
