Uncle Reggie's rehabilitation is going slowly but surely. The doctors now believe he will have a nearly complete recovery. I've gotten his finances straightened out, with a bit of advice on dumping certain bad investments from
Ethan. So, once he can sign his name again, I should be free to return to my job.
Ethan was strangely subdued when I saw him last week. He didn't talk about what happened, but I sensed there was a bit of a problem between him and
Tori. She's back in LA helping out the boys, apparently.
Dylan gave me a call today and said she'd helped watch
Taylor, along with
Buffy and
Dawn, while he and the others went to Las Vegas to hunt down the
Gaki. They found out she was there from a photo in a newspaper that
Wesley brought back after his wedding to
Fred. My goodness, I wouldn't have thought of him as the running off to Vegas type, but people often surprise you, don't they?
In any case, the Gaki is dead. However, the Powers have been hitting both
Destiny and
Cordelia rather hard of late, and running both the boys and AI ragged. It is getting to be that time of year, isn't it? I'd best call Buffy and see how things on the hellmouth are going. It's a pity she's not as dutiful as Dylan when it comes to keeping me informed.
