I received a call from home. My mother's brother had a stroke. He never married, has no children of his own, and it seems that his living will gives me durable power of attorney. I'm scratching my head wondering if he ever actually mentioned that to me. According to Mother he is unable to write at the moment, and I am needed to sort out financial matters and the like. So, I'm heading back to England, no telling for how long.

I left a message for the boys saying I wouldn't be able to attend their training meeting. I'm sure they will do just fine without me.
