I went to one of Oz's band's gigs last night with Rhia, Destiny, Gia and Gabe. While there, we met up with Zorak, an old friend of Rhia's (and from the banter I began to wonder just how old the fellow was!) and his date, Sierra Stevens. She is a bright young woman, working on a book about demons. I suppose Sunnydale is the place to do it. Unfortunately the music was loud, making it very difficult to converse much.
As I was coming back from the mens' room, who should I run into but Gwen Raiden? She seemed rather impatient for some word on the scrolls, and I was a bit embarrassed to have nothing to offer her. Well, and somewhat relieved since she said that the lawyers have been "on her case" about them. I'm having a devil of a time with the translation, haven't found any other source material on Sahjean, and I don't dare give them back to her until I know more, since the prophecy concerns Connor. Luckily, the band came back from break just then, making further excuses inaudible, and we went back to our separate tables.
I decided to phone Wesley about them today. I left a message with the gist of what I have been able to translate and asked if he wished to take a crack at them, because frankly, I'm at my wits end.
