I don't believe in the death penalty, but that is another discussion. You do have a point though about food, and such. But, there are starving people in the US that are overlooked. I guess it's all just survival of the fittest. I have no clue where all of that was suppose to lead to.
It is sad to me that the pope died he seemed to be a good man and a good leader but I'm not catholic so I don't know much about him, as for the death penalty I think that it is a good thing and that it souldn't be so easy but yah know to each their own opinion :-) and the woman Terri there could have been a more human way for her to go but at least she is hopefully in a better place. I like this type of entry.
Death is one of the single beauties of life. It is the end journey of our lives. People have been afraid of it since the beginning of time, and since it will never going to be someone to travel to the other side, it will remain a mystery. I mean it is the only thing that we still have relgion about. I mean does anyone remember( and you wont, I was asking for effect) when people worrshipped the sun in fear of it not coming again in the morning. We fear ourselves and therefore fear our deaths
( ... )
I like how you support your opinions, something that many people don't do much of. Yes, there is a beauty to death. It's as natural as life, maybe even more so because everybody dies, but not everybody lives. There's my deep comment of the day.
A lot of them don't, but that doesn't really change anything because it's what they do before they get in there that matters. But yeah, prisons do need to be a lot tougher. Me, i support building them in antarctica because i hate country club prisons that do nothing in the way of reform. We need harsh prisons, harsher sentences, but maybe stray away from the death penalty.
Oh, for a stat: the U.S. had the fourth highest death penalty rate last year, ranking behind: 1.China, 2.Iraq, and 3.Vietnam. Nice ranking up with those countries.
