Adam, I love it when you rant
Well...that first discussion journal went well. Thanks all for your opinions, i hope you voice them more often. Differences are good!
Since then, Terri Schiavo has passed on, thank God. She's finally at peace, of some sort, and nobody should be able to argue against that. Also, the Pope died today, a rather sad event but hopefully one that will promote change in the Church. Someone in the last discussion said that killing of any sort is wrong. Does that make death a bad thing? And, for you Bible-lovers (no offense intended), what about the passage "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" in relation to capital punishment? To play off arguments, the food used to feed criminals who deserve the death penalty but aren't going to die could be delivered to third-world countries. "The needs of the many outway the needs of the few, or the one."
