Amani, once the alpha male of the Sawtooth Pack moved on from us two weeks ago. Amani, who's name means "To Speak The Truth" in Nez Perce, was loved by his pack members, his close human companions, and all of us who knew him even for a short while. I will never forget the lessons he taught me, or the happiness I felt when he chose to accept me as a friend.
